Libre Eau De Parfum
A WOMAN'S PERFUME THAT PRAISES THE FREEDOM TO LIVE EVERYTHING IN EXCESS
Grown between France and Morocco. Conceived between Paris and New York. Walking the line between the masculine and the feminine.
Libre is the first floral lavender whose scent’s sleek essence is built on bold tensions. Between the sexy and the cool. Between a quintessentially masculine structure and an ultra-feminine heart. The elegance of Paris and the vibrancy of New York, where it was conceived, after 7 years and 1500 variations by IFF’s Master Perfumers Anne Flipo and Carlos Benaïm. The burning sensuality of noble orange blossom from Morocco contrasts with the aromatic freshness of the sustainably-sourced Diva lavender heart from France revealing at every spray the ultimate emotion these precious materials can express.
The scent is encapsulated in the iconic LIBRE IT-bottle expressing its the couture extravagance though an asymettric black cap, inspired by the YSL couture dresses, and a gold oversize horizontal Cassandre bent & nailed into the glass. With Libre Eau de Parfum, be the storm of the day, the sun of the night. Experience your freedom with excess.
The tension between the burning sensuality of an orange blossom flower from Morocco & the boldness of a lavender from France with a feminine twist.
The new scent of freedom, the freedom to live everything with excess.

LIBRE, THE EAU DE PARFUM
BY YVES SAINT LAURENT
ORANGE FLOWER ABSOLUTE HEART
Grown in the regions of Rabat-Salé-Kenitra in Morocco and hand-harvested by women, this uniquely noble orange blossom was fashioned by Master Perfumer Carlos Benaïm by combining the most opulent, smoldering fractions of the absolute.
DIVA LAVENDER HEART FROM FRANCE
Diva Lavender, a fresher and more floral expression of the essence, exclusively crafted for Yves Saint Laurent. Sustainably sourced, the hand-harvested stem and flower are first steam-distilled, yielding a 100% natural essential oil. The oil is then fractionated with CO2, in order to assemble only the most beautiful fractions.
VANILLA BOURBON PURE JUNGLE ESSENCE™FROM MADAGASCAR
Yves Saint Laurent’s vanilla is sustainably sourced in Madagascar through a community program, with a premium price paid for the best qualities, allowing a 25% increase in growers’ income. The premium extract, crafted exclusively for the house, is obtained through a cutting-edge extraction technology, Jungle Essence™, which captures the full, rich aroma of the pod. Powerful and textured, this extract captures a unique, freshly ripened vanilla bean effect with balsamic tones.
